Tinted Car Window

Good morning yall, :)

Yes, i smiled but really I'm struggling within. You know why? I'll tell you why.

Unlike my beautiful sister and prolly many other people, the reason i want car tinted window is not because of the glaring sun. Don't get me wrong. There are times when the sun is scorching and I go like. Ahhhh!!!~~ Don't melt me. But in normal cases, i wont especially ask for it.

I was driving down the Dingley Arterial and all of a sudden gotten a honk from this car next to mine. I looked over and got a death stare. This man disapprove of my behaviour of driving and looking at my phone. There was a jam at the front. I was making an informed decision to look at my phone which in normal 100km/h i wont. I am not happy because i hate losing and i know he is right. Gahhh.

But o well, if i had a tinted window, that wont happen again. Goal: be well-off enough to have tinted windows in my future car, after the inevitable happen to my dear Max.

Honestly, I haven't been this pissed for a long long time. I truly believe this calls for a legal action against the so-and-so company. If you are a freelance lawyer and would fight for this case on no money at all, contact me thanks. You can have 65% of the remuneration paid to me for my inconvenience. (negotiable)

So I got cheated. What was a so-called interview turned out to be a proposal for me to "make my resume more appealing". VR Australia, really, I lost all respect for you as a company.  I have few things against you.

1. WHERE IN THE WORLD DID YOU GET MY PERSONAL DETAILS? I AM A VERY CONSERVATIVE INTERNATIONAL STUDENT STUDYING OVERSEAS. EVEN IF A GOOD LOOKING YOUNG MAN CAME UP TO ME AND ASK MY NUMBER, I WOULD NOT GIVE IT OUT! WHERE DID YOU GET IT!!??

2. How can you call a student up to say that they have a job interview when you are only going to ask them to show you their resume (which by the way you should have received if what you said was true - that I have applied for a position with your company).

3. Yes, the typical tactic of "wow, your resume looks terrible, you need to fix it, we can fix it for you". And yet you dare say: you just need to be more confident. CONFIDENT MY ASS! It is people like you that make other people lose their confidence. (yes just between you readers and i, i may lack confidence in terms of my intimate relationship venture but hell, I am confidence itself when it comes to my work).

But you know what Viv? I forgive you. Because it is part of your job. I just wonder how you sleep at night having this con-job as your means of making a living. If you had a video resume, who knows maybe you can land a better job than this? A job that perhaps doesn't require you to lie. Wouldn't that be nice.

That aside, I thank my friends for making time to see me for lunch. Though it was a short hour catch up, which consist of me ranting more than half the time. Gosh, I am so thankful for you awesome friends. :)

So what if i act more like a boy?

GAHHHHH!!!

Okay, first of all, i am sorry my fellow readers if you're as lifeless as me to check, even if i am super busy, the blogs i follow and you realise that: "NOOO!! Esther still hasn't updated her blog. she ****ing liar". Well, pardon me. (i actually don't know if anyone still read my blog)

Honestly, i have been BEEEEE-SAAAAYYYYY. As y'all know, i had reports after reports, and after all that is done, i had to start preparing for bio exam which require my full attention the whole 3-5 days before the exam. So in the end, that paper wasn't that bad. Thank god. Next papers will be on the 21st for biochem and 25th for chemistry. Wish me luck. :)

Back to the point here, i have been told, that i need to *the exact words* "learn to be a lady". It really ticks me off sooo frigging muchh. I had to spend almost 2 hours on Sudoku while singing out loud to calm myself down. Seriously, how else more can you insult a girl? -.- And if you think you saying it with a smile make everything less hurtful? Well, guess what? You can never be more wrong. GAHHHHHH.

But come to think of it, i do like wearing pants more than skirt *they're more practical in every level*, i put on make up and wear heels only when i feel im ugly *again, where is the practicality of wearing killer high heels and hurt myself?* i LOL all the time *since young, we've been taught, if you're happy and you know it, laugh out loud, NO?* , i sing to myself lots *Mom name me sheng xi aka happy holy for a reason, i am a happy kid and happy people sings*, i am loud *i'm a born hakka! don't blame me for my heritage* etc etc. Yes, basically, i am not very gentle.. probably.. But who came up with the rules, if you have a pair in the front you gotta be gentler? I want to be myself and comfortable being myself. Who are you to tell me what i'm suppose to be? So please, if you're going to tell people what to do and how to live their life, think about this few things before you do.

1. Are you my mom?
2. Are you my dad?
3. Are you blameless to be able to judge?
4. Are you like Paul? To be able to stand in a position to judge those around you? As if you're living a sin-less life yourself?

That being said, i guess i should too be more careful when i pull out the vacuum tube from the wall next time, IT WAS AN ACCIDENT DAMMIT and its not even broken. It just made a loud thud thats it! Please, ifyewanfun2foomovefoofoutfout. :( But we all know its not possible.

Max, my baby.

So, it is the time of the year again, start of a new semester, beginning of the endless assignments and readings. But honestly, if you asked me to choose again, i would still choose to go through uni, because this is when i'm given another chance to make friends, grow up and learn to be independent. So, if you read my previous post, i left it at something going to happen last Saturday. What could that be? :O I stay in a South-East suburb in Melbourne. Takes an hour to get to the city from the closest train station, and 15 minutes drive to get to the closest train station from home and another 15 from station to uni. That is my uni life. But at least now i can drive myself to the station. :O WHAT? ESTHER GOT HERSELF A CAR? Yes, that is what I did last Saturday. I went and look for cars, and on Tuesday 26/7/2011, Max officially became my baby. Unfortunately, i do not have a picture of max right now, but i'll try in the next post, to introduce you fellow readers to max my baby alright? :)Transferring him under my name.
Dealing with the insurance. Okay, big news out of the way, now we have what is going on with Esther's life?

Kaelyn and Pris was discharged from the hospital on Thursday last week. Yes, last week. We got to let Einstein be nice to her, so.. sniff sniff sniff. Settle down.. WIN! :) Baby cry lots, but when Esther yiyi is asleep. I am so sorry, i can't hear u Kaelyn. Mmm, as y'all already heard, it is start of semester, this the first week. Timetable for me was a mess. I got to go version 2.0, 2.1, 2.2 only then i got my timetable finally sorted! 0.0 It was soooo troublesome with the allocate system. But now, it is all good and my timetable is just down below. :D If you can't see properly, i am doing 2 chem subject, 1 bio and 1 biochem. For the first time in uni, i have a purely science subject semester. Lord, help me please, your grace is sufficient! For some reason, my picture came out sideways. But this here is my timetable.

I saw this somewhere this past week. "If it isn't happy, it isn't the ending." How cool is that! Sit back, think about that for a moment. How wonderful is that saying. Heh!

So i was reading song of songs, this repeated many times. "Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires." Life lesson straight from the bible here people, take heed!

Last Week of Holidays before start of semester!

I am not sure if i posted this picture before, but all i want to say is... I have been feeling like this lately. Super tired all the time. -.- Its not like i don't get enough sleep, i DO get enough sleep, but i just get tired so quickly and feel like energy is constantly drained out of me. *wanna say FML but decided to say OLJ* :D Well, this morning when i wake up and walk outta my room, my legs turn jelly all of a sudden and wow, i crashed onto the wall, backwards. I think it could be the coffee yesterday, maybe my body has no tolerance of caffeine. I don't know for sure. Or maybe!! It is the lazy sickness again! i don't know!
I'll start with the life lesson of the week. :) (reminder to self as well!)

Basic manners 101: When someone agree to help you with something, finding time to fit you in, because you didn't tell them in the first place what was going on until the last minute, please, be considerate and not lengthen the time of which you need them to help you with. Like i said on twitter, YOU are not the only person on this earth and the world doesn't need to revolve around you. Everyone is equally important. So please, tell me if you have problems once you see it, i would love to help out.!

Adult relations 101: Healthy relationship is to be able to speak the truth in love. (M.Connor, Citylife, 2011) Some people have huge ego and just can't say the truth. Learn to be humble people! Like how Jesus was humbled and give all the Glory to God the Most High. "Let us talk it through."-Good. "Let's not talk about it for now until I am a little calm"-Good. "Let's not talk about it ever again."-Bad.

So you get it? Easy stuff eh? :D

Oh! Besides that, i learn a way to say something that doesn't sound pushy.

Great isn't it! You didn't promote yourself as the only person to contact, but if the person you said it to needs someone, you will be there. USE IT! :D

So i finished another book and now am doing some Japanese self study. Hopefully that works out? Haha, it is not easy.. 0.0 Saltwater moons 5/10. Not a very nice read, except towards the end. Practice practice.

Good news: My sister gave birth to a healthy 3.15kg baby girl. Pictures below and on FB! :)Tall, double eye-lids, fair, big eyes, fine hair, shaped eyebrow, long fingers and toes, nicely shaped nails. So gonna grow into a beautiful young lady.

Over the week, someone doubt the sincerity of my compliment. But when i compliment you, 99% of the time I am being truthful! When i say good job or WOW! excellent! or o wow! that's cool! I really mean them all! But if i don't like what you're doing, you have to be careful. :P Cause depending on how much of a friend i think you are to me, i will tell you how i feel. If i don't say anything at all, it means i don't care what you do. :) So, remember this: it is only cause i care that I am telling you how i feel.!

I should be thankful!

I should be thankful that you made it easy for me not to look back. Beyonce's new song "Best Thing I Never Had" is currently my favourite. :)


So I am just gonna lay out my whole week here, since my blog has became more like my diary now. Just for me to remind myself of what happened in my life. :D And of course for those who are interested in my life, to keep yourselves posted. :D

So I will start with outing with friends last Wednesday. We had springrolls, almost 20 per person. All of us were bloated at the end of it. Heh, but it was fun! Made a new friend, peter pan. There is just this little story i like to share.
So the couple within the group were 150 feet away(quite a fair distance).
Girl said to girlfriends: "that is him(the boyfriend)"
Girlfriends then said: "he is so faraway, how could you tell?"
Girl answered: "it is our heart connecting."
Girls: "Aww..!!"
One day, i wish to find my person for which my heart connects too! x)

During the week, I also heard a rubberband story, goes like this:
Relationship is like a rubberband, pulling takes 2 person but once a person let go, it will hurt only the other person. Which i think is a excellent metaphor! No further explanation required, you readers have good imagination. :) But when that or any other bad things happen, we should "turn bad situations into good data". *Wow, esther is on fire! Listen up now, cause this is some serious life lesson that you are likely to need in the future!*

What else? Oh! Pris's baby shower was on Saturday, everyone had lotsa fun, i hope! :P I did at least, realised i love pear cider! Superb! Erm, made macarons have some pictures below, enjoy! Scheduled to be due today actually. Heh, what is gonna happen? Can't wait to hold the baby! I even got my whopping cough vaccine done! Picture below too! You medical students reading this, whooping cough vaccine is aka BOOSTRIX DTPA VACC 0.5mL. Side effects: sore muscle for a few days. Yeah, I am having it now, but its for the baby! I am taking one for the team! :P

Erm, i think there is alot talking in this post, you readers might be bored already. So i will not explain how to use princess and assasin mobile in GB. Ask me if you really do wanna know, cause i found that out during the week! Exciting stuff! It was King's birthday on the 10th, which was Sunday! Went to her place, helped with preparing food for hotpot and stayed the night.! Had Moscato, check out the pictures below! Happy birthday again leh king! :) I heart you. One more thing before i end with a song which i also love.

I went for lunch with Kim and KP at rose garden the other day. (Food serving was huge, highly recommend if you are a big eater, couple shop next to coconut house on Elizabeth St) So i was waiting for them to arrive, then suddenly this girl sitting to my north-west slapped her boyfriend in front of everyone and started shouting. GOSH! Don't your parents teach you manners? Even if you have any issues with that poor guy, just go home and settle it, why create a scene? Public humiliation, its the worst thing that you could do to your partner. Remember that! NEVER EVER DO THAT, especially not to your other half. Just a random arm i found in unimelb library. :P Scare me at first LOL

Fish sauce they call it, to be eaten with springroll. It was superb! Ingredients: garlic, water, chili, fish sauce, sugar. Amazing how it turn out to be soooo good with the springrolls!

Never Stop Learning

Hi everyone, i just had my real analysis paper today, it was easier than expected but considering the difficulty, i don't think i did all that well. :( no one to blame but myself.

I am writing, not because i like to update about real analysis but about my inquisition of people not explaining things properly. I don't understand why many people wouldn't spend time to teach or help people like me who can be dense in general knowledge. See, if someone don't understand something, i would try my best to explain or clarify things to the extent of my own understanding. But, i've met many people who keep these knowledge to themselves, even if asked to explain, they would not want to. -.- Hello, please don't be selfish about your knowledge. "The more you teach, the better you learn." (paraphrased)(GoodMotivation, 2011). See, it is good motivation for you as an individual as well!

So people, don't, please don't be selfish with knowledge. If you fear that when you teach, people limit their ideas only to what you say, it is always up to the person listening to be interested to know more or not. Am i right? I think the best practice is to teach, and tell the person after that to look it up for themselves. That is the best way of learning too. :)

Friends are forever: Raheal darl bought me a mars bar slice. Super chocolatey and as sweet as her! New look?: Some people suggest that I should cut my hair short short, like this. Thoughts? Poor man clothes: Don't worry, it(my hair) is not a done deal yet, still contemplating. Note my blouse, it has holes all over, one of my favourite blouse actually, suits me perfectly cause it gives the poor man look.Haters?: So i was studying at the library today, and saw this grafitti. If you can't read the actual words, the main idea is just about asian coming to Australia and bringing down the reputation. -.- Can't we live in peace? Just keep walking: This bird has lost its foot. Look closely, it only has claws on one leg. Yes, it just kept walking, kept walking, never giving up looking for food. As competitive as the rest of the birds out there. Lesson to learn, people? Oh look! Whose legs are those! :D Mr. i-SO-shy. :P Get it? Mr. i-SHIMmer-like-a-bling. Mistook lemon for a mandarin and tried to devour the whole lemon, but failed, so he threw it away instead. :PAnd of course, last but not least, yours truly. :)
