Pan's Whisper

I knew I hadn't chose the wrong book on the last day of my placement.

It was Friday, last day of my teaching round in DHS. I spent period 4 looking at the fiction section. Hundred of books but I chose this one - Pan's whisper by Sue Lawson. I take pride in my ability of choosing awesome books.

Overall Rating: 8.5/10

Left me crying at least in three different parts of the book but I really did enjoy reading it.

Struggles of two sisters dealing with their bipolar mother. You need to get hold of it. It is so good that I want to make sure I am not ruining it for anyone.

So, the past two days have been much like a relaxation for me. Handed in my Chem assignment talking about water cycle misconceptions, squash, awesome korean dinner with sisters, karaoke with kimkim, sleepover at san jie's, morning tinkering with the piano, footy (bombers vs lions! Lions won, they were pretty good i have to say.) with 4n20 angus pies(yum yum), bra shopping, star trek movie, FINISHED THE BOOK!

Overall Rating for Star Trek: 8.5/10

I guess it has little to do with how I am slightly happier lately. I just can't point it down as to why. But yeah, I am happy. Maybe one day I will be part of the foster children system. *NOT AS A CHILD PLEASE, AS A PROUD PARENT*

Cheers,
Esther and Elizabeth from Melbourne MCG

WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF A DRAW!

*Just wanted to make it sound as if AFL is important to me* But, it was fun though, seeing those man in shorts and footie jersey. *keke, my dirty little secret* I think I have not been exposed to enough sports when I was younger. If I were, I would have enjoy it soooo much. I am so going to bring my kids up in the future with more than enough sports. :D So, at the end of the game, when the whistle was blown, score determined, it was a tie. Collingwood aka pie(because of magpie’s colour) and St. Kilda aka saints both score 68 points. All fans in the stadium showed a unhappy face at once, this is the only time you would find both side supporters has the same emotions. Why were they unhappy? Because a tie means that they would have to buy another ticket costing at least $500pp to watch it next week.

That aside, of course you are going to get Esther’s update about her life. :)

I have gathered enough information to say that Micheal is a name of a dangerous person. But, the bonus that comes with this dangerous quality in him would be that Micheal is always hot! Argh, hate how bad people are always hot. You know? U hate it too?

Today, i found a split end hair which splits into 5 different ends. Can you believe it? 5 splited end. I wanted to prove it with pictures but you see, my camera phone can’t focus to capture the 5 split ends. So, oh well, you just have to take my word for it.

What else? That is pretty much it actually. Just thought its fascinating, my split ended hair. :)

Oh yeah! I just watched Carz! SO COOL! But i would give it a 5, i would say, 3/5. I think I am growing up, NOOOO! So, i gave it 3 for the values it has in it. About learning to share and not be selfish. :) Sometimes you have to depend on people. NOTE: depend on people doesn’t mean you can slack and do nothing. It means to do things together. That is it for now.

Body aching like crazy!

Fact 1: Esther is not a sports person.
Fact 2: Esther went for volleyball the first time in her life.
Fact 3: Esther has bruises all over her hand and arms.
Fact 4: Esther is crying out of pain.

Lol. Yes, fact 1 to 3 are true, fact 4 has yet to come true. But despite volleyball being a very painful sports, at the end of the day, i got to say, i did enjoy it very much. I mean, I've always been the girl that stand at the side of the court and did nothing and dodge the ball as much as possible. But now, I am slowly involving myself more and more in the game. :D Really glad i did. Something about coming to Australia i guess, when you're surrounded by people who are not self conscious, confident, its something in the air, after u breathe the same air this people are breathing, u slowly become more and more like them. It could be also that there wasn't too many people and we had 3 courts. So, overall, beach volleyball was a huge success, everyone enjoyed themselves. :)

Also, this outing has made me realized how unfit i am! I couldn't even surf the volleyball from the line where everyone suppose to surf. I had to surf from the midddle of court, if not i cant get the ball to the other side. -.- Esther seriously needs to be more active.

On my birthday, I worked all day and party all night. Had some friends to have dinner with at sushi train,*so expensive!!* then went straight to karaoke where i drank too much and kept falling asleep while singing. It was a wonderful night, except the part where i threw up of course. 2 full mixer poured shots and 3 glasses of black label + green tea, that is enough for me to go kuku. Till now, i believe that the reason i threw up was because the toilet bowl stinks. Not because i was too drunk. :P And, my birthday present is a cardboard, from all of the seniors in the group. Aunty hilda, cindy, chen, uncle arthur gave me clothes. Friends gave me shower jelly. Hmm. Most interesting present is actually the cardboard! This is no ordinary cardboard, it has all the signature of people who attended there, so cool! and also it has a laptop drawn on there. :D The real thing will arrive in 2 weeks. Cant wait! Then, I'll be parting with this current laptop and leaving it in my younger sister's hand. :) So, that is pretty much it!

Lastly, I had a prophecy on me just now when i was in church. So they say, i will bring peace to people around me. I have a shadow that will make people feel at ease. And this shadow will grow as i have more and more Christ in me. I want to!! I want to be the person who put people at ease, bring peace to people. :)

Till then people, toodles. :)
